THE COMPANY
Starr Dance Company offers our students a special opportunity to showcase their talents, by being part of our nationally award winning Performance Company & Hip Hop Company!
All dancers on our Company get the oppurtunity to:
Perform at local events
Attend conventions and in-studio workshops
Compete in two regional competitions during the season
Dancers of a certain age/comeptition level will also get the chance to participate in a National Competition during the summer. Over the years we have been up and down the Jersey Shore!
Performance Company
Open to dancers ages 4 and up, the SDC Performance Company is designed for students who are passionate about and dedicated to the art of dance. Company members train in a variety of dance styles with the goal of reaching their fullest potential as dancers. Select Performance Company levels will get the chance to be in our Production numbers, and dancers may also be given the chance to compete and perform in smaller groups or as individuals. Solo, duo, and trio routines may be entered in additional optional competitions throughout the season. These experiences help build self-confidence, teamwork, and lasting friendships!
Hip Hop Company
Dancers who want to focus on Hip Hop are invited to audition for our Hip Hop Companies! Open to dancers ages 7 and up, the SDC Hip Hop Company is for students who are committed to growing as dancers and performers. Dancers in this company train in Hip Hop and a technique class, focusing on building both style and foundational strength.
